Obituary of David Melvin Foulke

David Melvin Foulke, husband of Martha Burnett Foulke, of West Union, SC passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at his home.

A native of Detroit, MI, Mr. Foulke was the son of the late James A. and Alice West Foulke Simons. He worked as Associate Director of Housing for the University of Michigan and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Foulke is survived by his sons: David J. Foulke (Wendy) and Jeffrey J. Foulke (Lindsey); brother: James A. Foulke; grandchildren: Bodi, Drey, Degan, Alex (Lynden), Reese (Abigail), Tate, and Brynne Foulke; great-grandchildren: Ivy, Oakley, Margo Foulke, with two on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In additional to his parents, Mr. Foulke was preceded in death by his step-father: Stanley Simons: in-laws: Seth and Virginia Burnett; and sister-in-law: Sandra Foulke.

FUNERAL: Services for Mr. Foulke will take place Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Saginaw, MI. Deacon Jeffery Rauschert to officiate the service. Committal service to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
