Thomas J. Deisler

Owner, President, Licensed Funeral Director

Tom is a fourth-generation funeral director and has worked side by side with his father, Edward G. Deisler Jr., since 1975. Born and raised in Saginaw, he currently serves as the firm's president, owner and manager and is very active in the day-to-day operations of the business. Tom is proud that his business has been family owned and operated since 1888, celebrating over 130 years of service to the Saginaw community.

He is a 1972 graduate of St. Stephen High School and a 1981 graduate of Wayne State University College of Mortuary Science. Tom became a licensed funeral director in 1982 and owner and manager of the funeral home in 1988. That same year, Tom started a grief support program held at the Green Acres Apartment Complex, developed to assist families during the difficult period of adjustment that follows death.

He is committed to keeping the establishment a family run organization, while having the utmost respect and dignity for the families he serves. He and his wife Lori have been married since 1981. They have three children: Ryan (Jennifer), Andrew (Ashley) and Jessica (John) Meyer and six grandchildren: Bode, Smith, Rory, Cameron, Eliza and Teddy. Tom is a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #4232, Sons of The American Legion Post #439 Saginaw, VFW Men's Auxiliary Post #1859 Saginaw, Michigan Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.

Jennifer R. Rauschert

Licensed Funeral Director and Pre-Arrangement Advisor

Jenny has been a part of the Deisler Funeral Home family since April 2000. Born and raised in Auburn, she currently resides in Saginaw Township. Inspired by a public speaking teacher to explore her career options, Jenny researched funeral service by speaking to a funeral director located next to her high school. It was then that she developed a passion for funeral service.

She is a 1994 graduate of Bay City Western. Following high school, Jenny enrolled at Delta College, where she completed both her State of Michigan mortuary science prerequisites and graduated with an Associate's Degree. In 1997, she graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL. After graduation, Jenny began serving her apprenticeship in Cass City, and became fully licensed in 1998.

She and her husband Jeff have two sons: Ethan and Carter. Jenny has been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since 2004 and is active with mission work. Jenny is also a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Jennifer R. Hammond

Licensed Funeral Director and Pre-Arrangement Advisor

Jennifer grew up in St. Charles and is a 1990 graduate of St. Charles High School. Knowing that she wanted to help others, Jennifer obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate in her junior year of high school. She worked for several years in home healthcare until enrolling in Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2002. She became a licensed funeral director in 2005. Jennifer is a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, camping and traveling.

Douglas J. North

Licensed Funeral Director and Pre-Arrangement Advisor

Doug joined the Deisler Funeral Home team in November 2017. Prior to becoming a funeral director, Doug served the Saginaw Community for over 14 years as a Firefighter, EMT, and Emergency Dispatcher. He graduated from Delta College in 2019 with an Associate Degree in General Studies and from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2022 with an Associate Degree in Funeral Directing. He has been a licensed funeral director since 2022. Doug is a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. He married his wife Lisa in 2010 and together they have four children. In his spare time he enjoys camping, kayaking, photography, and spending time with his family.

Pari A. Sitarski

Administrative Assistant

Pari has been with the Deisler Funeral Home family since 2008. Born and raised in Freeland, she currently resides in Saginaw Township. Pari and her husband Mark have been married since 1990 and have a son, James. She is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and is involved with faith formation classes for both children and adults.

jim W. Cronkright

Funeral Director Assistant

Jim joined Deisler Funeral Home in August of 2014, following a 26 years of employment at the Dow Chemical Company as a Chemical Processor. He was born, raised, and remained within the Saginaw Community. On February 3, 1990, he married his loving wife, Christine, and together they have two wonderful sons: Tyler, and Kyle. In his free time, Jim enjoys restoring American antique classic cars and watching hockey, especially his favorite team, the Detroit Red Wings. Above everything, Jim loves and cherishes his wife and two sons and the many family vacations past, present, and in the future. He's "living the dream!".

Dick W. Carroll

Funeral Director Assistant

Dick joined the Deisler Funeral Home team in April of 2019. He worked as a tool and die maker for 41 years before retiring from Cygnas in 2017. Dick and his wife Joni are members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Saginaw Township. He enjoys all sports and has coached at Valley Lutheran High School for many years.

Randy J. Cox

Funeral Director Assistant

Randy joined Deisler Funeral Home in March of 2022, following 38 years at Dow Chemical Company as an Operation Specialist. He was born and raised in Saginaw and has lived throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region his whole life. Randy is married to Patricia for over 30 years and together they have three sons and one daughter. He has enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar and has been on many scuba diving adventures.

Mark T. Corcoran

Funeral Director Assistant

Mark joined the Deisler Funeral Home team in July 2020. He has been in the Glass business for 45 years. Mark and his wife Mary have been married since 1989, and have three children, and three grandchildren. Mark enjoys camping, woodworking, and following the University of Michigan sports.
