As the President and CEO of the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, I had the privilege of witnessing the immense generosity and kindness that David extended to our organization. Dave has been the best of friends to the Orsinger family for over forty years and he and Martha will be kept in our hearts and prayers for twice as many. He is an honorary uncle to our son, a friend always willing to help, sharing his love and time. We enjoyed being together in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, West Union, and on many trips to northern Michigan, Hilton Head, Tawas, and how can we forget the infamous ski weekend at the Waterloo State Recreation Park? Dave is known for making “squirrel drinks” that cost him beaucoup dollars and knocked us all for a loop (most of them were delicious.) He made every activity a memorable one – golfing, cross country skiing, card and board games, volleyball, sitting by fires, just hanging out, or recommending good books to read. Dave has made many friends and each of us will miss him. We send our love to Martha and the rest of the Foulke family. Love and hugs from Curt & Claire Orsinger
