With great sadness I share this fond memory of Aunt Squeal. I always remember going to the farm at Christmas time. Aunt Squeal always made my favorite - Candy Cane cookies! Before we would go home Aunt Squeal would give me a baggie with a few cookies to take home. Dad would say "she doesn't need those" but Aunt Squeal always OVER RULED. I guess that's the difference of being the oldest of the sibling vs. the youngest. Aunt Squeal's cookies always seemed to tasted better then the ones I made even though I got the recipe from her. Must of been the Special Love Aunt Squeal added that I could never duplicate! Best Ever! . . . Valerie (Spooner) Shina
