Uncle Steve was a wonderful uncle. He was a gentle and caring soft spoken man. My special memory is Uncle Steve saving their dog Midgey from going to another home. Midgey had an accident and Aunt Mary Jane was trying to call someone on the phone to send Midgey to. Uncle Steve got on the organ and played so loud that Aunt Mary Jane couldn't talk. She had to hang up the phone. Midgey got a break. It was hilarious.
