Obituary of Mary Louise Sova

Sova, Mary L. Saginaw, Michigan Sova, Mary L. passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare - Harrison in Saginaw. She was 87 years old. Mary Louise Mellon was born on June 10, 1933 to Frank H. and Marie A. (Taylor) Mellon. She married Emmett Sova Jr. on September 5, 1953; he preceded her in death in 1998. Mary enjoyed spending time with her dogs and gardening. She was an avid reader and made healthy living a priority by staying up to date on advances in medicine, diet and exercise. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish Mary's memory are her three children: Kimberly (fiancé Jack Wolfgram) Boyer, Brigette (James) Neveau and Emmett "Buck" (Theresa) Sova; five grandchildren: Michael Charette, Jamie Anspaugh, Danielle, Morgan and Allyson Sova: four great-grandchildren: Emma, Chloe and Hannah Anspaugh, Michael Charette; one brother, Joe Mellon; and her dog, Willow. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 4 brothers and sisters. FUNERAL: A private funeral service will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Deisler Funeral home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Rite of Committal will take place in St. Andrews Cemetery.
