I lived across the street from Mary Sova for many years. I grew up at 2418 N. Mason my parents were the first family to live there in 1953. That house is very very special to me and I am honored to see what type of people live there the house looks great it means a lot to my family, brothers and sister, parents both passed. Mary Sova moved in with her three children and her husband. They became great friends of mine and Mary took me under her wing, she could tell I was hurting inside and the difference she made in my life is impossible to measure. I hope she was peaceful at the end she was a very special person. Terrell's if you would like to talk about the house I am on FB. Terri Jex O'Brien. That neighborhood means so much to me as my youngest memories are in that house. God bless you and God bless Mary Sova. Terri Jex O'Brien.

There simply are no adequate words. First, to Mary's beautiful family-please accept our utmost sympathy for the loss of your amazing mom. Mary (or Mary "Poppins" is who I thought of her as) was our "babysitter" for many years. She delighted our children with many adventures and field trips to see her garden and her beloved dogs. She showed up each morning with a purple cup filled with coffee and a bag of goodies and surprises for the day. She got my younger ones to try broccoli by calling it "little trees" and dipping it in ranch dressing. I could go on and on. There will always be a special place in our hearts.. Now she is on to her eternal rest - although I doubt there is much resting going on with Mary in Heaven. I am sure she is counseling the Heavens about what should be done with this pandemic - and it would mostly involve garlic, ginger, and brewers yeast. We love you Mary and cannot begin to thank you for blessing us with your time here on earth. Love, the Krajkowski family

You've been our neighbor for 23 years and you've watched me grow up from a little kid into a woman. You are and were so pure. I will miss seeing you in your yard, playing with your dogs, waving at me saying "Hi Ashley" in your sweet voice and talking to you. What an angel you are and will be in heaven. We will miss you so much. May God bless you, Miss Mary. It won't be the same without you.
My condolences to the Sova family.

Mrs. Mary, my heart is broken to hear of your passing. We have been neighbors for 24 years. Russell, Ashley, Simba (german shepard) and I are going to miss you dearly. You were and will always be like a second mother. I'm going to miss our talks and big bear hugs. You had the most sweet and caring spirit and that's what I going to miss the most.
Seeing you working in the yard tending to the beautiful flower. I'll forever hold you dear to my heart. Heaven has gained another angel. You are together now with the love of your life, Mr. Emmett. "I LOVE YOU MRS. MARY." Hold onto GOD unchanging hands. Tell my father and mother, I miss and love them. Thank you for all your love and kindness. Until we meet again in heaven. RIH/RIP. AMEN!!!
Your Other Daughter and Neighbor,
Paula Phillips-Terrell

I met Mary many years ago while walking my dog Jake. She was truly an angel on earth! Talking to her was always like talking to an old friend you had known forever! I remember asking her how she stayed so young looking! She shared her secrets! I just took Maddy for our first walk since winter and see people clearing out her home. My heart sank. The guys told me she passed. Such heartbreaking news! You were all so blessed to have such a wonderful mom! I am sorry for your loss. I will truly miss her ! Sandy Borske
