Joyce was my sister-in-law Julie's Mother. Found memories of family celebrations, grandkid milestones and dance recitals we attended together and her steadfast Faith. My heart breaks for the loss of this special wife, mother, grandmother and special friend. Soar with the Angels Joyce!

I met Joyce Beattie the summer of 1980 when my daughter, Denise and I moved to Sacramento, CA and started attending Arden Church of the Nazarene. Joyce's daughter, Julie and my Denise became close friends. There was many a Sunday when Julie would invite Denise to spend the afternoon with her. Because of the friendship between our daughters, Joyce and I became close friends. I always enjoyed the time spent together, occasionally meeting for lunch during the week. Life took us in other directions yet the friendship we shared always remained with me.
My deepest sympathies to Bill, Scott, Kelly and Julie and their families. May God's peace and comfort surround you in the coming days.
Blessings,
Betty Townsend

What a special woman. She was so sweet and caring. She always had a word of encouragement whenever we spoke. I will miss her smile. She loved God, her family and her fellow church members. Bill, God bless you and keep you in His care. Love, Wendy Fischer

Since meeting Joyce about 13 years ago, she became a forever friend. We enjoyed attending Southern Gospel concerts together, with our husbands and getting together for games and visiting. Sunday school class and Church, sitting together then eating out. All these will be forever cherished. Joyce, you are missed and loved dearly. Enjoy singing in the Heavenly choir. Until We Meet Again. (((HUGS)))

Joyce was such a joy to know. Having her in my Bible Study group this year was a pleasure for all of us. Her love for Jesus was so evident and we all were better for her sharing her wisdom. She will be missed.
