Helen, we feel so fortunate that we knew you and Tony. We enjoyed his lively personality and sense of humor, and of course his many contributions to medicine in our community. I witnessed his engaged membership on the Saginaw Community Foundation board later as well. He had a giving heart, and we are so sorry for your loss. — Tom and Culli Damuth

Dr. Egleston impressed me when I met him as a kid in high school. He was kind, gracious, had a wonderful sense of humor, and an eye for beauty. His many professional and community-focused accomplishments and service to his adopted country were things I didn't know much about until reading his obituary: yet another immigrant who blessed the nation by coming here to live his life and share his gifts.
May his memory and love support you through your grief. Every time someone appreciates a trip down the rail trail in the beautiful seasons to come, his life, loves, and labors will be celebrated by complete strangers, too. What an excellent legacy to leave.
Rest in peace.

Mrs. Egleston and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I first got to know Dr. Egleston when Dr. Rice and I were working on outreach to the medical community when I was the Campaign Director at United Way. Dr. Egleston was thoughtful in discussions and committed to making a difference in the community. It was also nice to have you both as neighbors when you lived on Superior St., Our sincere condolences to you and your family--we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I have such fond memories of Uncle Tony. He and Helen were so kind to me during my early years in the U.S. I was so homesick, and felt very welcome in their lovely home. Family was very important to him.
Boy, did he have a sharp wit, and I could never quite keep up him. He met his match in my brother though, they were truly two of a kind. I can only imagine the banter that is going on now!!
My deepest sympathy to Helen, Brian, Ann and Laura, and his younger brother, Kevin.
It was such a privilege to have Known him.
Rest In Peace, Uncle Tony

I remember when we did Saginaw River raft race and a party afterwards at his house. Gracious host and hostess. Also a personal private wager. He bet me if I quit smoking for a year he'd pay me some cash and he did. Great guy. He will be missed.

Wonderful memories of my Uncle Tony and the Egleston family. Our two families spent a great amount of time together. Whether it be at each other's house, the country club, the cottage up north or my Uncle showing up at our house to show off his new bicycle. Fond memories, and remembering his smile and always a kind word for the Mulhern kids.
May he rest in peace and once more be reunited with his siblings and family. You will be sorely missed, but know the lasting impressions you left with the people and patients that knew you will continue to carry on....
Love always...... David Mulhern

We respect and admire Dr. and Mrs. Egleston greatly. Dr. Egleston was an inspiration and a role model for many young physicians including myself. I am grateful for his guidance on interpretation of difficult radiographs, as well as his tremendous professionalism. His devotion to his family, our parish, our profession, and our community was exceptional. His wonderful sense of humor and delightful liturgical music were a blessing to all.
Please know of our prayers for Dr Egleston and Helen and the entire family. May God Bless Dr. Egleston and his family now and always!
Sincerely,
Mike and Marcia Wolohan and Family
