Mrs. Fisk was my fourth grade teacher at Fancher Elementary in Mt. Pleasant. I remember many of my teachers but vividly recall learning my multiplication tables in her class. She was an outstanding teacher to have and will be greatly missed.

rest in peace Mrs. Fisk. she was such an awesome lady. She was my fourth grade teacher and treated my twin brother and i like her own grandchildren, inviting us to the cottage in oscoda a few times. She will always be remembered. I am very greatfull to have known her. Deepest condolences to the family!

When I opened the newspaper today and realized Ginny had passed, so many wonderful memories came flooding back. Ginny was the most remarkable, talented, and witty teacher! She so generously gave her time to students, but also to me as a brand new third grade teacher. Ginny shared her teaching wealth with me when I needed it most. My 28 years at Fancher were wonderful, due in large part to Ginny's (the left handed teacher) kindness. Just Saturday I spoke to a former Fancher student and she recalled fond memories of her fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Fisk. Ginny loved her own children so, apparent through our daily talks. My husband and I wish comfort and peace through the warm memories of Ginny. God bless all of you.
