Dear Lois Jean Veremis Family: We have such nice memories of your Mom when she and Phyllis came down to Sarasota to escape the Saginaw winter. We enjoyed Loey telling stories of her family spending winter in Bradenton as a little girl and attending school there. She said her classmates regarded her as a visitor, but she got along well with them and fitted right in. We fondly recall the many get together's we had at her house in Palm Aire and our house on Siesta Key. We always made sure we had a couple bottles of Natural Light for her when she visited. We were in awe of her big black four door Cadillac, and when she parked it in our driveway, every car that passed by would slow down and admire it. We recall the Thanksgiving dinners we had with her at Turtles restaurant on Siesta Key along with dining at Stonewood and Lazy Lobster in Palm Aire. She was enjoyable to converse with and her inquisitiveness and sincerity was precious. She always asked about our family and was interested as to how they were doing. Loey was a gracious and special lady and our family just loved her. We miss her and know she is in Heaven with God and family. Goodbye cousin Loey.

Lois volunteered in the Saginaw General Hospital Emergency Room when I worked there as Head Nurse. She was always very compassionate with our patients. I will always remember her smile and laughter. RIP dear lady. Prayers and hugs to your family.

Veremis family, I am so sorry for your loss. Lois will always be remembered by me. Remember the many schemes we dreamed up to get her to take her meds or take a shower. My favorite was you Nick, talking to her on the phone for a while , then saying you were going to take a shower and suggesting she take one at the same time. Off she went to take a shower without any problems! She sure was a pistol!!

My LoLo, (as I called you.) You gifted me with your love and a lot of laughter. But mostly, you gifted me with your wonderful son that I am privileged to call my husband. Thank you! I'm so excited you are reunited with all you love. I am looking forward to seeing you again, and giving each other our special hugs. I love you.
Your daughter-in-law. Pam

It was a true blessing to become a friend of Lois. She taught me many things. I loved her. It was so special while reading her obituary, as the highlights of Lois' life had been shared personally to me by Lois, with so many added delightful memories that she expounded on for me to hear. Lois was brilliant. And regal, in many ways! She was compassionate and kind. Lois knew I respected her, always, and on several occasions, she allowed me to know that she trusted me. We blessed each others lives. I will never forget her. Lois' devotion to her sons, Nick and Bill was beyond compare. I marveled at her love for them, and they for their Mother. I will see Lois again, and her beautiful eyes will be even brighter!
