A lot of great memories with our families whether if it was at the lake house or backyard barbecues. Your mom was such a bubbly person and her and my mom always loved to laugh together. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. She led a great life and I miss our families not getting together like we did in the past. My prayers are with you during this time of grief. Love Dan.

Barbie, David, and Fred, I am so sorry that you no longer have your mom with you on this earth, although I am trust you are confident, as I am, that she is with your dad and the rest of the family, surrounded by God's blissful love. We are the ones who must accept her absence in our lives.
I have loved being connected to your mom, dad and you throughout the years at family events. I have a special place in my heart, however, for the cousins' camping weekend up north. My mom/Aunt Dona, Aunt Joy, and Aunt Carole shared a camper. Dona happily skipped down the dirt road next to the campground gathering wildflowers one day, and put them in a makeshift vase on the camper table. Carole saw them and said, "You and your damn flowers." Thanks to Tricia's spot on imitation of them, we've milked years of laughter out of Carole nearly squelching Snow White's enthusiasm for nature, but ultimately without success. They loved each other very much—just had different styles.
I thank God for Aunt Carole and for all of you in my life. I pray that you find peace in this new normal for you. Be good to yourselves, and cherish the families you have that took root in the love your mom and dad had for each other.
With much love, Nancy Nicholson

Fred, Barb, David and Families, We are so very sorry to hear about Carole's passing. Carole was my 2nd mom for many years. I have so many fond memories of the good times at your house and the cottage. I think about your mom every time I make sour cream coffee cake. I was just up in Linwood and we drove by the cottage. It looks different but the memories came flooding back. Fishing, snowmobiling and the trip to Texas will always be fond memories of your mom. May the memories that you have bring you all Peace and Comfort. I won't be able to make the service but please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Carole.
