Aunt Mary Ellen was always so positive and I loved her laugh. She never got upset about the little things. I wish we could've gotten together with another lunch with her. Now she's having lunch with Uncle Si. You are all in my thoughts and prayers today. Love and hugs.

Your mother was such a great friend to my mom - Barbara Muir. They knew each other from the American Legion and casinos! I remember when my dad died (many years ago) she brought over the best tuna salad I've ever had. When my mom wasn't able to get out and about anymore due her many illnesses, your mom would come over and visit and bring something she'd made. Such a wonderful, caring woman. I remember she was always very kind and thinking of others. And she loved her family very much.

You don't know me but my mom Kay Campbell use to go to the casino with MaryEllen before she passed away. I am sorry for your loss, your mom was a great lady. My mom talked about your mom quite a bit. They met at the American Legion when my mom transferred her membership to Saginaw. I am sorry that I did not get over to see her. I am sending prayers to your family and I know my mom will see her in heaven.

I used to babysit for Mary Ellen and Sy. Their children then were David, Terry, & Susan and they were such good Kids to care for. When Sy picked me up to babysit where they moved to, he always sang Mona Lisa and Mary Ellen said that was because he was stationed in Italy while in the service. Such nice people and they were so good to me. Rest in God's Peace both of you. Love & sympathy, Alice (Raymond) Fortier
