Obituary of Daniel Thomas Crampton

Crampton, Daniel Thomas of Saginaw Township passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at his residence. He was 89 years old. Daniel was born August 11, 1930 in Saginaw, MI the son of Leo and Hazel (Keenan) Crampton. Dan was united in marriage to the former Marlene Frick on November 8, 1952 in Saginaw, MI; she preceded him in death on October 17, 1991. On February 14th 1995 Dan was united in marriage to the former Joanne Stark; she survives him. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Dan retired after several years working for Honeywell. He enjoyed walking, riding bike, building things, hunting and golf ball hunting. Dan especially enjoyed traveling up north to his cabin in the summers and down to Florida in the winters. Dan is survived by his wife Joanne Stark-Hozesk-Crampton; daughter, Cheryl (Mike Brown) Fisher; three grandchildren, Joseph (Rachel) Fisher, Roeh Zakar and Racham Fisher; four step-sons, Jeffrey (Bridget) Hozeska, David (Mary) Hozeska, James (Jill) Hozeska and Patrick (Ana) Hozeska; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Marlene, Dan was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Fisher; three brothers and two sisters, James Crampton, Herb Crampton, Bonnie Miller, Dick Crampton and Sally Hagen. FUNERAL: A private family service to be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Father Jack Johnson to officiate with private burial to conclude in St. Andrews Cemetery. (off State) on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Due to the current health concerns and gathering limitations of 10 people, social distancing will be observed. Please be advised this may require you to stand outside or sit in your vehicle in order to insure the safely of all the family and staff.
