Obituary of Ann Marie Koehler

Koehler, Ann Marie Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Wellspring Lutheran Services of Saginaw. She was 97 years old. Ann Marie Weston was born December 6, 1922 in Bridgeport, Michigan to the late Floyd and Jennie (Laux) Weston. She married Edwin J. Koehler on November 22, 1947 in Bridgeport, Michigan. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2004. She was employed by the Public Libraries of Saginaw, as a library assistant retiring after 23 years of service. She loved crocheting and knitting. Ann also enjoyed shopping. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Barbara Boyce, Susan Ozerajtys, and Paul Koehler; grandchildren, Andy (Katie) Boyce, Suzanne Baldwin, Amanda (Ken) Curvin, Heather (Mitch) Wheatcraft and Michael (Jennifer) Ozerajtys ; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Dustin, Madison, Marissa, Dominic, Scarlett, Colton, Noah, Alaina, Lily, Kayla, Ava, and Tyler; brother, Paul (Margo) Weston, and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her son in-law David Boyce; siblings, Robert (Julie) Weston, Eleanor (Gordon) Fevog, Barbara (Fred) Opperman, and Alfred (Ruth) Weston. FUNERAL SERVICE: A private funeral service will take place Friday, May 15, 2020 at Deisler Funeral Home. Pastor Matthew Hauser will officiate. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In accordance with State mandated ordinances, the limitations of the number gathered and safe distancing will be observed.
