Sue, Paul and Barb. I am so sorry for your loss. Ann was a sweet and dear person to me. I was so happy to spend time with her in her home before she went to live at Wellspring. I had many nice visits with her there and shared dinner with her several times. She was always smiling and never complained. I will miss her dearly. Cheryl Bartlett

Both my parents, Paul and Rena Rohrkemper, have died. Then Jake. Now Ann. A spectacular Saturday night card party is now gone--except for those of us who recall these exceptional people. I remember standing by the card table, my chin barely above the playing surface, as they traded tricks as if each hand really mattered.
My father and Jake met in service to their country during World War II and then serendipity determined that they would live much of their lives within a few blocks of each other.
Because I grew up far from my parents' birthplaces and families, Jake and Anne--and of course Barb and Sue and Paul--were like family to me. Although I have not seen the Koehlers much in recent years, I am so happy that I and all my siblings were able to visit Ann just a little over a year ago. May Ann and Jake and Rena and Paul rest in peace. May we, their children, live out and dignify their dreams for us.

Many great memories of a life well lived. You were all special and lucky to have her as long as you did. Ann was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and spoke highly of all of you whenever we visited with her.
