Amazing guy. Savoir fare with streetwise flair. Connoisseur of culture, class and kitsch. Big Tom grew into his youthful nickname to redefine his bigness as a big hearted, big thinking man. What a good soul brother and friend. East side forever!
Tom reminded you that it was good to have someone with his smile, integrity, generosity and wit around. Wow. Tom is an irreplaceable charmer. Sadly, he is gonna be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Tom was a great guy who coached little league and didn't snitch myself and Kathy Neuman out for tucking our hair under our caps and playing with the guys..he was a very active manager of revised sound, if which my brother Shad was the lead singer..we appreciated his friendship in the old south end neighborhood..he will be missed but not forgotten..RIP dear friend

Tom has been a constant patron in the mornings at the Red Eye Cafe. He even had his own chair. He was always sought out in conversation by the regulars because of his extensive knowledge of many subjects and his considerate responses to people's inquiries. A favorite topic of conversation was his updates of the status of wildlife on Ojibway Island where he took frequent nature hikes. He was also sought out for his expertise of antiques and collectibles. If you had something he found to be of value, he would help you market that item to the world via the internet. How convenient it was to have that service available on a daily basis. He was not kidding when he called the coffee shop his "office." My favorite interaction with Tom was to try to stump him on what band from sixty years ago played a particular song? How rare it was when he did not know the correct answer. I will miss my conversations with Tom and his sage insight into life's perplexing questions. Tom was very good company and will be missed by many.

Tom was a lifelong friend from the time we were small children through adulthood. Many great memories with Tom including baseball, football, basketball pickup games in the neighborhood. Tom was an avid reader and wrote poetry as well. I don't think Tom ever met a stranger and his sense of humor was one of the great gifts that he shared with many people.

Tom was one of the leaders of the Libcoln Street gang. During the Summers, we played all day and late into the night, baseball, fishing, biking. Tom was the king when we played home run derby at the Waterworks.
Fond memories.

Tom and I go back a long time in the record business. In recent years, when I came into town, I always made a point to visit him at the Red Eye Coffeehouse, to hear all the latest news about Old Town. We have shared some great times. I will miss you, my friend.
