Obituary of JoAnn F. Granville

Granville, JoAnn F. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland, surrounded by her family. She was 83 years old. JoAnn Florence Deike was born on January 17, 1936 in Saginaw to the late John and Marie (Day) Deike. She married John Bither Granville; he preceded her in death on July 24, 2017. JoAnn enjoyed working as a Real Estate Agent for John O'Schmidt Realtor in Saginaw for many years. She then worked for JCPenney until her retirement. JoAnn loved to bowl, knit and cross stich, creating many gifts that her family and friends will treasure. JoAnn is survived by her two daughters and one son: Vicki (Bob) Collins, John D. Granville, and Wendy (Joe) Sauve; 8 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Shary Deike (George) Frahm; and a cousin, Bill (Mary Jo) Scharffe. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and her parents. FUNERAL: A memorial service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Cremation has taken place.
