Susie was one of my ladies in Sunday school. She came faithfully & rarely did you see her w/o a smile & her "button" hat (with all the different buttons from people & places she had collected). She liked being "adopted" as someone's aunt if they had a new baby @ church & loved little ones:-) We both had the same name "Susan Kay", so I always felt a kindred spirit because of being called Susie by family as well. I'm so glad you mentioned mother as one of her roles, because even though she may not have had the opportunity to raise Sara, she always was wondering & praying each Mother's Day if God would make it possible for their paths to cross. Rest in peace Susie. We will miss you.
