I know David from the YMCA. He dressed in a locker area near mine, and we often discussed local history. As president of the Saginaw County Hall of Fame, I well knew about the life of Alex Levinsohn, and he was a topic of our discussion many times. I remember David as very kindly and interested in so many subjects. I had missed him these past years. I wish I had known that he was so well travelled; that would have resulted in ever more subjects to discuss. Wonderful man.
