Aunt Judy was truly an inspiration. She successfully handled the challenge of being a single mother during a time when things were much tougher for women and went on give 110% in everything she did to help others.
The last time we spoke we were sharing stories about our mutual love for volunteer work and she told me that my dad would be proud of me. I will carry that moment with me the rest of my life.
Rest well, dear lady. Your work here is finally done but your legacy shines brighter than ever.

The positive attributes that describe Judy Kinkle are almost too numerous to list. Ever since I met her I have thought of her as our "energizer bunny"; she was always on the go, purpose driven, full of vim and vigor (she might have chosen two other adjectives), anxious to help anyone and forever welcoming to everyone. She was a jewel at St. Mary's of Michigan where, as a volunteer, she started the Visitors Aid Service in 1975, the Thrift Shop in 1981, the Hospital Hospitality House in 1984 and served thousands of hours within the hospital in these services and more. I will remember her always with a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
I know that Judy is already helping in heaven and that her family has been blessed by her life and legacy and will be comforted by wonderful memories of her forever.

Nana, I can't believe you are gone. Thanks for all the great childhood memories and passing on your sense of fashion and love of shoes. You were the original energizer bunny. I love you and will miss talking to you.
