Ann is my biological mother. I found her 22 years ago and we connected as if no time had passed. She is a genuine and caring person, putting others needs before her own. No matter how tough life was, she still found a way to smile and find light within the darkness.
I am just finding out 10 months later, that she passed away. She didn't tell me she was ill, no one (the few that knew of me) told me she passed away. I'm heartbroken that I was not at her side, to comfort her and finally to say good bye. Ann gave me life, by birth and by adoption. Hers was taken way to soon.
