Loui,
Hold close to your heart those GOOD memories! Especially the words he shared with you in the truck when you were up to see him! I pray you keep those positive memories close to your heart, for the past was the past; I know you are grateful, as was he, to talk and communicate so positively that day!
Yes, it is sad for people to carry parts of the past into the present, tho, again: at least you and he got through and over all of that of the past! So, time to continue moving forward with your memories of tge GOOD you both shared, as that day in the truck.
People tend to want to "blame" someone when a loved one passes on. Words are exchanged sometimes when someone dies: anger, sorrow, blame are all wrapped up as one, which is when more than one person may say negative things to each other. Some even "egg" another family with intense blame and negativity; some express such words of hate, that only destroys. My prayer for everyone is to recognize this fact, put it behind each, and move on. I sincerely believe Warren would be smiling down from heaven then! Just like he did when you graduated from college! I will never forget that smile on his face as you walked across that stage to accept your diploma! Indeed, he was one proud big brother at that moment: simply because he truly truly loved you SO much! No matter the ideas and opinions of others, for the two of you KNEW that bond between you can NEVER be broken!
My deepest sympathies to Pam, you and all in each of your families! Prayers ......

Warren has an incredibly hardworking employee and it was an honor to work with him at Dow Chemical. I loved his spirit and "can do" attitude. He took his work serious, enjoying his co-workers and loved to tell stories. A good man all around.

Warren was a great neighbor and friend. Always a smile and able to look at the best side of everything.I know he was a great husband, father and grandfather seeing how he was around Pam his kids and especially his grandkids. He could fix anything or come up with an idea on what to do to fix it. His boat was his pride and joy and his slip in Bay City where he kept it was something to behold.I was lucky enough to take it with him on Saginaw Bay before he put it away last fall. Liz and I will will sadly miss Warren.

My dad was the most amazing man I have ever known. He always wanted the best for his family and did what he needed to do to make that happen. The love he had for my mom was unconditional, like any other couple they had their ups and downs but their love helped them through the downs. His grandkids were the apples of his eye. I honestly do not know I would be today without the love from my dad. So Dad, thank you so much for living and letting me watch and learn. I love you and miss you more than anything, but am so happy you are not suffering anymore. So fly dad, fly. :sparkling_heart:

My Uncle Warren was a terrific husband, dad, and grandfather. My Aunt Pammy was the love of his life. He adored his daughters Kerri and Kelly. He was one of the most proud grandpa's I have ever known. He worked hard at his job to provide a good life for his family even when it meant missing out on birthday parties or family get-togethers. My Uncle Warren was a part of my life for 43 years and during that time I watched him love his family and love my Aunt Pammy in a way that helped me know exactly what I wanted in a husband and dad for my children. I want to thank my Uncle Warren for being such an inspiration to me and many others in his battle against cancer. He fought hard even when things were difficult. I hope his fight will remind all of us that life is too short to waste even one minute being angry at someone, being stressed from working too much, or being glued to your technology instead of your family. Aunt Pammy, Kerri and family, and Kelly and family, know that I am here for you if you need anything. I love you all!

I remember meeting Warren and the rest of the Kaufman Family in 1972 when I was just a teen. Warren you will be missed by so many wonderful people, your family and friends. I feel in my heart such a sorrow for those whose life you shared and brought into this world after your passing. God Bless your Family!
