Al had a great vitality for life. He was physically active taking care of the cottage on Wiggins Lake, which later became his permanent home. The cottage holds some of the fondest memories for the Kwaiser Family. Regularly throughout the summers we would be invited up to the cottage for a week end. Al always made sure the kids were having fun. He would take us all water skiing, and of course teaching the Kwaiser kids how to ski. He had mini-bikes to ride around the cottage and the deep sandy driveway approaching the property. Sometimes we would go fishing, sometimes a few hours on the pontoon. After a long day of fun in the sun, Al would build bonfires in the evening and we would all make s'mores. After we, the kids were settled, Al would always have the energy to play cards with any of the adults, whether visitors or cottage neighbors.
His high energy and vitality was recognized everywhere. All neighbors and friends benefited from Al's wisdom and interest in helping his neighbors. All they had to do was ask, and maybe they didn't always have to ask, as Al was always ready to jump in anywhere he was needed.
Al has filled us full of memories that can put a smile on our faces when we think back. The shoes he left behind will be difficult to fill.
Thank you Al and all of the McMall's for a lifetime of friendship and adventures.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dearest Allen. My family and I wanted to send our deepest sympathy. Our family recently lost two of our dear friends in death. I wanted to share a comforting thought found in the Bible that helped us. It is found at Revelation 21:3-5. Soon our Creator will "swallow up death forever" (Isaiah 25:8) What a time of rejoicing that will be.
