Obituary of Jacquelyn Lee Reed

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Lee Reed, age 78, of Saginaw, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

She was born July 23, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan to Chester and Taleka Dent.

Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She was a dedicated hockey mom and grandmother, logging countless miles between Saginaw and Detroit. Jackie loved music and playing living room hockey with her grandson.  Jackie was proud of the business, RJR Delivery Services, she built and owned with her husband Bob from 1994-2008.  

Jackie is survived by her high school sweetheart Robert (Bob) Reed, whom she married on January 10, 1994; her children, Tricia Bamberger and J.J. (Jamie) Bamberger; step-children Jeff Pecen, Bob Reed and Leslie Reed; grandchildren, Rieley Bamberger, Noah Hayes, and Brayden Hayes; sister, Pat Theobald; nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held in the summer of 2025, please check back for details.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heavenly Paws of Michigan Animal Rescue or Saginaw Amateur Hockey Association and mailed to 6129 Bay Rd. Saginaw, MI 48604.
