I met Roz when I lived and worked at the Saginaw Art Museum in the early 1970s. When I returned to Detroit to be married, I also joined the Town and Country Handweavers Guild. When the Guild invited Roz to conduct a weaving workshop, she stayed with us.
I remember Roz’s stories of working on the ski patrol, going to the cabin in the upper peninsula, and the workshops she conducted.
I kept in touch with Roz over the years and am saddened at her passing. I look forward to her memorial at Cretive 360 with which I am familiar.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family.
