Our brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. He was 79 years old. Noel George Peterson was born on December 16, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Christopher and Ellen Peterson. He owned and operated Affordable Properties for 50 years, as well as Peterson Auto Sales, Noels Place, and Mr. Petes Saloon. Noel was a member of the Landlord Association in Saginaw, which his father founded and participated in Junior Achievement. He loved playing tennis and in his younger years, coaching baseball and football. Noel also enjoyed playing a guitar in his band, the Noel Peterson Trio. He will be remembered as being a dedicated sponsor and huge supporter of youth and adult sports in the Saginaw Community.

Surviving are his siblings, Joan (John) Englund and Christopher “Mike” (friend, Janice Bye) Peterson and many nieces and nephews.

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Ellen and two brothers, Gerald Peterson and William Peterson.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: In keeping with Noel’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at the Trillium Banquet Center, 6415 State Street, Saginaw, MI 48603.
