Fulgencio, Esther of Saginaw, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old. Esther Barsenas was born on May 10, 1936 in Saginaw to the late Juan and Joaquina (Castanon) Barsenas. She met and married the love of her life, Jaime "Jimmy" Fulgencio on May 21, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Esther was a lifelong resident of Saginaw. She was a woman deeply rooted in her faith and loved her parish of St. Joseph and actively participated in St. Joseph Women’s Club, Cursillo, Business Womens Commission, and Lay Ministry.  She also served the parish as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, lifelong member of La Rondalla Choir, Secretary and Bookkeeper for 21 years, retiring in 2006. She had the gift of serving others and was a true blessing to all who knew her.  Esther had an enormous love of dancing and music, and would always find a way to share that love with all who surrounded her.  The Lord blessed Esther with a large family of which she was deeply devoted to and we were privileged and blessed to have her in our lives.
