Our sweet angel and princess passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 in the arms of her mom at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison and was received by her Lord in Heaven. She was 41 years old. Marie Rosa Seidel was born on February 8, 1983 to Deborah M. (Gregory) and Conrad “Kit” Seidel. Marie was baptized at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She attended the Saginaw Transition Center, graduating in 2009. Marie loved to attend Prom, participating in the “Model Show” at Millet Learning Center, going to the Summer Program and Guardian Angels Day Program. She loved to go up north to her Grandparent’s home in Harrison. Being by the water, attending the County Fair and listening to her music during the car ride brought her so much joy. Marie loved a good “Dad joke” and her laughter was infectious. Marie loved attending concerts including, Hootie and the Blow Fish, Beach Boys and Dion. She enjoyed watching music videos and comedy, if Marie had the opportunity to laugh, it was a beautiful day.

Her beautiful laughter will be deeply missed by her mom, Deborah M. (Robert) DePlonty; dad, Kit Seidel; brother, Rob DePlonty; uncles, Karl (Melissa) Seidel and Don Gregory; aunts: Daris Sova, Darlene (Gary) LeClair, Doreen (Timothy) Tuzas, Kim Kilpin, Mechel Bruske and Cali Karas. Marie is also survived by many cousins, extended family and dear friends, especially her special friend Leigh.

Marie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Junior Gregory and June Denno; paternal grandparents: Rolland and Rose Seidel; uncles: Rolland Dennis Seidel, Joey Seidel, Daniel Gregory and Derrick Gregory.

SERVICE: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State), Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Paul Biber will officiate with burial to follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Marie’s family asks that guests wear something pink in honor of Marie.
