Obituary of Alan James Talbot, Sr.

Alan James Talbot, Sr. age 73 passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Alan was born on October 16, 1950 in Weymouth, MA the son of the late George and Elinore (Counter) Talbot. Alan was united in marriage to the former Cynthia Steele on August 16, 1975 in Saginaw, Michigan; she survives him.

Alan retired from Wolgast Corporation after 32 loyal years. He enjoyed woodworking; there wasn’t anything he couldn’t make or fix. He and Cindy also enjoyed traveling and camping to many destinations. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Alan is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; Cindy, his children; Alan Talbot, II, Adam Talbot and Tracy (Matt) Bator, grandchildren; Alyssa, Benjamin, Maxwell and Elena, a sister; Pam (Bob) Luth and several nephews.

FUNERAL: Funeral services for Alan will take place Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Saginaw, MI 48603.

VISITATION: Family and friends can gather at Deisler Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM and again Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
