Obituary of Colette Louise Nagel

Colette Louise Nagel passed away on June 18, 2024 with her devoted husband Michael by her side.

Being born and raised in Saginaw Michigan she worked in the Saginaw area as a medical biller.

Colette and Michael were married on August 11, 1979. They moved to Florida in January of 2015 to help care for her mother-in-law Olga Nagel. Olga died November 8, 2021 at the age of 101 years old.

Survivors include her husband Michael, Brother: William Louis Brilliant and his wife Frances, Sister: Kathryn Thompson and her husband David and Marilyn Brilliant: Three nieces: Lynn Seals, Denise Clouser and Cherie Thiel,  four nephews: Mark Thompson, William H. Brilliant, Daniel Brilliant and James Brilliant and several great nieces,  nephews and her very best friend for over 35 years: Cherrie Colmus-Harper.

Colette enjoyed bowling on a woman’s team and mixed doubles. Also enjoyed playing cards and gardening.

Colette was an active member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Saginaw Michigan and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Englewood, Florida.

The Nagel family is planning for a Memorial Service to take place in the spring of 2025, please check back for updated service information.
