Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away with her loving husband by her side on Friday morning, May 17, 2024 at her residence. She was 74 years old. Mary Jo Ann Stotz was born on April 9, 1950 in Ironwood, Michigan to the late Anthony and Mary (Marchello) Stotz. She married James Mundell on July 27, 1970 in Tacoma, Washington. Mary Jo attended Ironwood High School and continued her education at Duluth School of Cosmetology. She was employed by Marenisco School District as a teacher’s aide, retiring in 2004 after several years of service. Mary Jo was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Saginaw for many years.

She loved gardening and reading. Mary Jo also enjoyed cooking and baking delicious meals, often making too much food. But above all, she really loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandson.

Surviving are her Husband, James Mundell; children, Jim (Kristina) Mundell and Tammi (Chris) Lee; grandchildren, Dylan Mundell; one brother, Thomas Stotz; one sister in-law, Sharyn DaPra and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her brothers, Williard Stotz, Jerry (Betty) Stotz, & Anthony DaPra, and sister in-law Pam Stotz.

In keeping with Mary Jo’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
