Obituary of Jean Ann Adams
Adams, Jean Ann
Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away on Thursday morning, April 25, 2024 at Brian’s House Hospice Facility in Essexville. She was 70 years old. Jean Ann Buggia was born on November 14, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Clarence and Jean (Trogan) Buggia. Jean was employed by Testa’s in Palm Beach, FL and Zehnders Frankenmuth as a waitress, retiring after 20 years of service. She also owned and operated Nan’s Food Truck before Food Trucks were popular. Jean Ann was a member of the Catholic Faith for many years.
Although Jean Ann was an only child, she grew up with many cousins who thought of her as a sister rather than a cousin. She enjoyed cooking, especially Italian and never mastered the art of cooking for smaller groups! She was an Ohio State and Notre Dame Football fan and took pleasure in wagering against her U of M and MSU family members. Jean Ann was outgoing and loved talking with and meeting new people.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Dominic, Gideon, and Carter Adams; uncle and aunt, Dr. Ronald and Joyce Koehler; special cousins, Arthur Zintek, Mary Ann (Frank) Johnson, Jane (Butch) Waibel, Ryan (Valerie) Waugh, Ann Marie (David) Goidosik, Megan (Geof) Daczyk, Phillip (Jennifer) Johnson, Andrew (Audrey) Waugh, Erin (Matt Lenox) Zintek, Jacob Fisk and Gina Fisk; several Buggia, Trogan and Furlo cousins; numerous friends from around the country as well as very good friends, Kris and Dan Fuller who talked to her on a daily basis.
Jean Ann was preceded in death by her son, Gabriel Jon Adams.
Thank you to the staff of Brian’s House and Compassus Hospice teams for their tender care, compassion, and support.
In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
