Obituary of Joseph Alan Corroa, Sr.
Corroa, Sr. Joseph Alan age 64 passed away, unexpectedly Saturday, March 2, 2024 after a brief illness at McLaren Bay Region Hospital. Joe was born August 1, 1959 in New Orleans, LA the son of the late Anthony and Kathy (Camp) Corroa. Joe honorably served in the United States Army and then retired from the United States Airforce after almost 20 years. He was united marriage to Mary Durbin on September 21, 2007 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2024.
Joe loved camping, cooking, riding his bike, watching football and traveling. But most of all Joe loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Joe is survived by his children; Joseph (Maria) Corroa Jr., Dustin (Christa) Corroa and Britnee (Mason) Dunn, seven grandchildren; Alivia, Marion, Adalynn, Christian, Castor, Aiden and Regina, mother in-law; Palma “Pam” Durbin, sisters and brothers; Anthony (Jeanine) Corroa, Michael Corroa, Cathy (Randy) Martin, Carol (Carey) Graham, Christine (Tony) Williams and Angela and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife Mary, Joe was preceded in death by his grandmothers; Christine Morgan Camp and Katherine Ballos and sister in-law; Vicky Corroa.
In keeping with Joe’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial services is being planned at a later date.
