Obituary of Daniel James Laubhan

Daniel J. Laubhan, age 68 passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. Daniel was born on February 23, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late Edward and Rose (Benkert) Laubhan. He graduated high school from St. Stephen’s Catholic School in 1973. Daniel was united in marriage to the former Kathy Guerin on June 5, 1982 in Saginaw, Michigan; she survives him.

Dan enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling and going to the beach; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dan is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Kevin (Anne) Laubhan, a grandchild on the way; brother, Tim (Tami) Laubhan; sister, Tina (Jack) Boening; several nieces and dear friends. Dan was preceded in death by two sons, Ryan and Jeffrey Laubhan and his parents.

Funeral: In keeping with Dan’s wishes cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest in a small private gathering at St. Andrew’s Cemetery on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
