Obituary of Marleen Constance Plyler

Marleen C. Plyler age 89 passed away Monday, February 12, 2024. Marleen was born August 18, 1934 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of Alexander and Sarah (Burbank) Remer. She was united in marriage to General “Gene” Plyler in 1954; he preceded her in death in 2011. Marleen enjoyed gardening, crocheting, painting and her animals.

Marleen is survived by her children; Rebecca (Rance) Gaskin-Peevy, Nathaniel (Sandy) Plyler and Marcella Plyler and Timothy Ruhlig and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Gene, Marleen was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Plyler.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
