Obituary of Mary Catherine Durbin-Corroa

Durbin-Corroa, Mary Catherine. age 57 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at her home in Unionville, MI. Mary was born on December 15, 1966 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of James and Palma (DiCeglie) Durbin. She was united in marriage to Joseph Corroa Sr. on Sept. 21, 2007 in Ft. Walton Beach Fl.

Mary attended the University of Phoenix where she earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology. She worked for Saginaw County Mental Health for 15 years and then went on to work for Rescare, Adult Foster Care Homes for 5 years until her retirement in 2016. Mary enjoyed doing arts and crafts and her dog, Josie. But most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them; especially her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband: Joseph, children: Joseph Alan (Maria) Corroa Jr., Dustin Adam (Christa) Corroa and Britnee Anjelika (Mason) Dunn, grandchildren: Alivia, Marion, Adalynn, Christian, Castor, Aiden and Regina, mother: Palma “Pam” Durbin, sisters: Angela (David) Carpenter and Patricia (Christopher) Guerra. Mary was preceded in death by her dad, James Durbin and a brother, Jim Durbin.

FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. Saginaw, MI  48603 with Rev. Chuck Howley to officiate.

VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at Deisler Funeral Home on Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of service.
