Obituary of Sharon L. Brown
Brown, Sharon L

Loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Tuesday morning December 12, 2023. Age 84.
Sharon was a lifelong resident of Saginaw having been born here on December 25, 1938. Sharon was the oldest daughter of the late Judge Harold W. Martin and Betty (Geistman) Martin. Her family always made her feel special being born on Christmas Day.
Sharon began her working career at General Motors where she met and fell in love with the love of her life, George Brown. She later worked as a legal assistant for her late uncles, Walter Martin and Frederick Martin at the former Martin and Martin law office in Saginaw, Michigan and lastly working as a Paralegal for her brother, H. William Martin, at the former McGraw, Martin and Heyn law office.
During her retirement years she enjoyed working for the Saginaw Township Schools as a lunch aid. She and her husband also spent several years enjoying being the caretakers for three of their grandchildren during the workday.
Before she became a grandmother, Sharon enjoyed many hobbies such as wood painting, ceramics and making stained glass and volunteering her time and talents to the needs of Resurrection Lutheran Church where she was a long time member. Sharon enjoyed the most being able to spend time with her family and her friends. She was very devoted to both and will be missed by all of us.
