When I became part of the family in the early 90's, I heard alot about "Uncle" Gary. I was told her was a great and "interesting" guy! As my husband said, we went to Saginaw to get our taxes done but really went to see Gary. My favorite memory is Gary cooking dinner for us and logging it in a book where he kept track of what he served and to whom! A fabulous idea that I use today. Then after dinner I was treated to "Gary's martinins" (I have the recipe) and I was entertained as I listened to Gary and Ray banter back and forth as they "solved the world's problems." Wish I could have spent more time with him.

I met Gary in the mid 70's when he started dating my aunt Jane. He liked wood working and so did I . I always referred to him as uncle Gary. He let me drive his 1968 corvette which was a thrill I never forgot. I moved away from Saginaw in the early 90's. For years my wife Ellen and I would make the three hour trip to Saginaw to have our taxes done. This was really an excuse to stop and spend the night at Gary's. A few martinis and we had the world's problems solved. He was a great guy, and I'll miss him very much.

Gary was a classmate of mine in high school. He was a very decent person and didn't get rowdy like some of the boys did. He came from a wonderful family which I've known for many years. He will be missed by his sisters and his friends.

As Jane's sister, Gary was our angel with how he took care of her. His selfless love was so evident in everything he did for her. Gary been a part of my family's life for 50 years and we will miss him terribly. He was the best in every way possible. I'm sure Jane was there to meet him.
