Obituary of Darlene Hazel Niederstadt
Darlene "Dolli" Hazel Niederstadt, 77, of Saginaw, MI passed away on August 24, 2023 surrounded by family and those who faithfully and lovingly cared for her at Heritage Lakes Memory Care in Pflugerville, TX.
Dolli was born in Lyons, Michigan to William and Hazel Beach on August 13, 1946. She went to school in Flint, Michigan. She married Terry Niederstadt on November 1, 1969 in Saginaw, Michigan. Dolli attended Central Michigan University and she worked in accounting for Wilson, Hall, & Associates in Bay City, Michigan and at Rehmann Robson in Saginaw, Michigan. Dolli had a heart of gold and served in various capacities at her church, Peace Lutheran in Saginaw and throughout the community. She served the READ Association for children in Saginaw and also helped lead a Christmas Angel program through the Saginaw Country Club. Dolli was a dedicated mother of three and was always very involved in her children’s lives through their sports and activities. She loved music and often could be found humming, singing, or tapping her foot along with the music especially from the Christian radio station where she was encouraged in her love for Jesus. Dolli also loved to give; she could be found crafting, scrapbooking, or shopping on a regular basis with friends and family. She had a contagious laugh and expressed the love and compassion of God in a powerful way throughout her life.
Dolli was preceded in death by her brother Bobby, her dad William, her mom Hazel, her brother Bill, her sister in law Elaine, her sister in law Rochelle, and her brother John.
She is survived by her spouse Terry and her children Jeff, Jeremy, Jayme and their spouses Michelle, Jill, and Kobi. She had eleven grandchildren whom she loved dearly – Kaley, Maddy, Lydia, Josiah, Levi, Paxton, Camden, Remy, Isaac, Carrington, Jeremiah and one Great Grandchild Liam.
