Obituary of Helen Louise Leadford

Leadford, Helen Louise, age 90 years old, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Covenant Healthcare. Helen was born on January 23, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Nellie (Katch) Lister. She was united in marriage to the late Thomas Leadford on October 3, 1959.

Helen was a long-time member of the St. Charles Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening. But most of all she enjoyed family gathering and just being with her family.

Helen is survived by her nine children; Carol (Mike) Baker, Robert Thompson, Kathy (James) Eickholt, Linda Hernandez, Timothy Leadford, Terry Leadford, Tamara Leadford, Lori (Tyler) Shindorf and Thomas (Rachel) Leadford, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-children; sister; Karen Lambert and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Thomas, Helen was preceded in death by three children; James, Michael and Stacy Leadford, brothers and sisters; Robert and William Lister, Linda Mendyk and Donna Tausch.

INTERMENT: A Graveside service took place Saturday, July 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery, St. Charles MI. Pastor John Soyster officiated.

SERVICE: Celebration of Life Service will take place Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 4:00 PM from the Brant Township Hall, 11012 S. Hemlock Rd., Brant, MI 48614.
