STREET, Dora Betty Kathleen “Kathy” of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Wellspring Lutheran Services. She was 96 years old. Dora Betty Kathleen Bacon was born on May 11, 1927 in Saffron Walden, England. She married Francis “Bud” J. Street on August 4, 1945, he preceded her in death on July 1, 2014. Kathy lived all over the country with her husband Bud including, Alaska, Washington, New Hampshire, California and settled in Saginaw in 1964. Kathy loved to spend time with her family, eating at nice restaurants, traveling, and visiting her family in England. In keeping with Kathy’s heritage from England, she enjoyed watching shows on BBC and the Hallmark Channel. She also had a great love of dogs and had many faithful companions over the years.

Surviving are her son-in-law, Donald Mazany; her granddaughter and her husband, Cadence (Jordan) Hufty, and extended family in England. She is also survived by her dear friends, Gloria Ackerman, Matt and Kelly Darland, Rich and Julie Colpean and Bev Broiher that she spent many hours playing cards and dominos with the ladies.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis “Bud” J. Street; daughter, Marsha Mazany; son, Stewart Street; and her brother, Albert Bacon.

SERVICE: Kathy’s family will celebrate her life privately and she will be entombed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with her husband Bud.
