When I lived in Midland for a brief time in the early 1980s, Bill became a trusted, dear friend. He remembered birthdays, would loan me his old green Pinto when my own car broke down, and took me to the VFW for french fries. He was always working on projects with a deep passion and freely shared his ideas with others. I trusted Bill completely and was always grateful he took me under his wing, kept an eye out for me and was almost like a brother. God bless you Bill.
