Bush, Agnes Marie “Agie”

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away, Wednesday evening, February, 22, 2023 at Brian’s House in Essexville. She was 88 years old. Agie was born and raised in Reese, daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Stratmann) Schulte. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Reese High School. While playing Euchre one night, Agie met Orville Bush. After a quick-witted exchange and six weeks later, they began planning their wedding. The two were married November 3, 1956 and were together 56 years until Orville’s death in 2012. Agie worked for St. Luke’s Hospital as nursing coordinator until retiring after 40 years. She was a very spirited woman who loved to have fun. Agie and Orville enjoyed traveling in their motor home across Michigan especially near Traverse City. She also enjoyed playing golf and playing the slots at various casinos. Agie was a tremendous woman of faith and always made sure to watch Mass and pray the Rosary every day. She was an active member of St. Dominic Catholic Parish where she was a member of the choir and made many friends.
