Donald S. Beck of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was 62 years old. Donald Steven Beck was born on February 29, 1960 in Saginaw to Donald J. and Barbara (Eggerd) Beck. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. Music was Donny’s passion and he was a musician and singer with various band including “The Klams”. His loved music, and that stayed with him throughout his life. In the early 1980’s Donny joined the Carpenters Union Local #706.  During his time with the Union he worked on various commercial and residential building projects throughout the Saginaw area. He retired on August 1, 2021. In his free time, Donny was a motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoyed woodworking, cooking and playing golf.

Donny is survived by his mother and step-father, Barbara Beck and Dick Ray; Theresa Laubhan, his angel and partner; sisters: Linda Schulz and Kathy (Tom) Kitzman; nieces and nephews: Tom (Alicia) Kitzman, Jessica (Matthew Fletcher) Kitzman, Daniel Kitzman and Andrew Kitzman; great niece, Gaby; great nephew, Ethan; Theresa’s children: Stephanie (Randy) Griffin, Patricia (Jason) Ruzeski and Donald (Stephanie) Muckey; extended family: Debra (Al) Kneuss, Linda (Tom) Guimno, Brenda Slancik and Lisa (Eric) Arndt; and many dear friends.

Donny was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Beck; and brother-in-law, Robert P. “Bob” Schulz.

GATHERING: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI 48603 on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. In keeping with Donny’s wishes cremation has taken place.
