Street, Stewart F. “Stew”

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved son passed away on Friday evening, February 10, 2023 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. He was 69 years old. Stewart Francis Street was born on March 13, 1953 in Corona, California to Francis and Dora “Kathy” (Bacon) Street. He was employed by Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring after 30 years of service.

Stew loved taking day trips on his Harley Davidson and owned one since high school. He was an avid University of Michigan football fan and attended every bowl game that Michigan was in since 1972. Stew also enjoyed spending time by his pool, barbequing almost every day, and having a Miller Genuine Draft beer. He loved keeping in touch with his relatives in England and visiting when he was able. Stew will be remembered by his family as a history and geography buff.

Surviving are his mother, Kathy Street; brother in-law, Donald M. Mazany and his niece, Cadence M. (Jordan) Hufty and extended family in England.

Stew was preceded in death by his father, Francis Street and his sister, Marsha Mazany.

In keeping with Stew’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His family is planning a memorial service at a later date, please check back for updates.
