Arturo Lopez was born on July 18, 1929 in Austin, Texas to the late Arturo and Alvina (Escobar) Lopez. Arturo moved to Lansing, in his early 20’s. Following his service with the Army, Arturo and Margarita moved to Saginaw, started their family and he worked at General Motors. Arturo retired from Grey Iron Foundry. Arturo loved to watch sports including the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and any sports his family played.
