Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 with her family at her side at the age of 71. Sue was born July 31, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of the late Stan and Marie (Kujawa) Nowacki. She was united in marriage to Colin B. Stevenson on May 20, 1983; he survives her.
Sue was employed with the Saginaw News for 32 years; retiring in December of 2006. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, a longtime member of Curves, dancing For Fitness and OUI. Sue volunteered with the READ Association for several years. She enjoyed traveling, walking, biking and going out to dinner with family and friends.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Colin; sister, Jan Nowacki of Saginaw; brother, Bob (Tina) Nowacki of Standish, brother-in-law and sister in-law, Rich (Denise) Stevenson of Freeland and several nephews, great nieces, great nephew and cousins.
MEMORIAL: In keeping with Sue’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Rd. Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm will officiate.
VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at the church on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
