CRAIG, Shirley Mae

Saginaw, Michigan

Shirley Mae (Tuck) Craig went home to be with the Lord at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan on Friday, November 4, 2022. She was born January 14th 1933 to the late Henry & Mary Martha (Phelps) Tuck. Shirley worked at The Illinois Shade & Graber Company for 27 years. On October 14, 1972, Shirley married the love of her life, Myron H. Craig. Shirley was a woman with many experiences to share with anyone willing to sit and listen. With the most detailed memory one could have, Shirley shared stories of her love of travel. She took many trips with friends and family all over the country. In addition to travel, Shirley loved to cook! Shirley shared her talents by making sure everyone was fed after a long day of hunting and fishing, and even helped to feed her church family. Shirley was a very caring and active member in her church, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saginaw. She volunteered countless hours to funeral dinners, alter guild, and many other church functions. Family gatherings and reunions were near and dear to Shirley. She looked forward to her annual family reunion every year to catch up with family and meet the newest members as the family had continued to grow. Again, this was another event where Shirley's cooking and baking skills would shine. In addition to travel and family time, Shirley held a passion for couponing and shopping-- anyone who knew Shirley knew she loved the thrill of a good deal. Shirley spent many years camping and always really enjoyed hosting her campsite with others. Shirley also loved spending time with her family and for many years she spent time with her grandkids and neighbor kids taking them to fun activities and spending many days at the Zoo where she loved to see the animals and ride the carousel.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Henry & Mary Martha (Phelps) Tuck. Her husband, Myron H. Craig, her siblings, Mary (Dick) Feldotte, Henry Tuck, Joanne (Delbert) Schmidt, and Donna (Morris) Chenivere.

Shirley is survived by many friends and family, including a sister-in-law, Arlene Tuck, a son and three daughters, Diana (Jim) May, Corinne (David) Miles, Keith (Tammi) Craig, and Alysse McEvilly. eight grandchildren, Jonathan, Tamara, Aaron, Dustin, Nicholas, Cori, Nicole, and Megan, 12 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Eli, Lucas, Emelyn, Hunter, Sage, Wyatt, Ivy, Kelly, Kjersti, Killian, and Kennedy.
