Obituary of Dennis R. Konsdorf

Saginaw, Michigan 

Our beloved father, grandfather and special friend passed away peacefully at his home on October 13, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was 78 years old. Dennis Ray Konsdorf was born on July 29, 1944 in Saginaw to the late Charles and Virginia (Hubbard) Konsdorf. He graduated in 1962 from Saginaw High School, where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. Dennis married his high school sweetheart, Sue Orlowski, on September 28, 1963. Together they had three children: Mark, Brad and Kimberly and they raised their family in Shields. Dennis and Sue built their dream home in AuGres on Lake Huron, and enjoyed 25 years there making memories together with their family. Dennis started his career with General Motors, and retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after 34 years of service. He loved to fish, hunt and travel to many warm and tropical places. Dennis had a patient and kind spirit and had so much love for his family, friends and Golden Retrievers. 

Dennis is survived by his sons: Mark (Sue) Konsdorf and Brad Konsdorf; grandson, Zachary Willard; great-grandchildren: Bentley and Mason Willard; his special friend, Christine Hazen. He is also survived by many extended family and close friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Konsdorf; and daughter, Kimberly Williamson.

In keeping with Dennis’ wishes cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life privately.
